Find Rest

One of the most significant aspects of my personal self-care is taking time to be still. For me, that’s stillness with God, but it might look different for you. I need time to pray, to gain perspective, and to simply be. Even though I’m aware of this, that doesn’t mean I engage in meditation enough. I wait until life is overwhelming and I’m wildly stressed out before I practice self-care. And…. that often results in burnout!
